The Pavilions were a key element in the diversification of a rural estate not too far from Shrewsbury. The site was a derelict Victorian walled garden which had not been used for many years. The brief was to provide new office space which was environmentally responsible without breaking the bank. The result was 1800m2 of office space spread over three linked buildings which in turn form an open landscaped courtyard in the middle of the walled garden.

The design of the buildings has incorporated a heating system fed by a ground source heat pump, a passive ventilation system, rainwater harvesting, solar shading and high levels of insulation. The pavilions have a galvanised steel frame to the courtyard which helps to tie them together visually and carries the sun shading, and metal balcony at first floor level and a series of aerofoil fins at roof level. The main body of the buildings have oak rainscreen cladding.
